For Christmas I painted 7 of Grandma’s records for the family. I thought a white elephant gift exchange would be fun. The paintings were loosely inspired by the record covers so that was the “wrapping”. I decided to start youngest to oldest so Mom would get to choose last. I quickly saw the flaws to the system as 1) my family is just too nice for stealing 2) seven is barely enough to really get into the game 3) the adults didn’t really want to steal from their children who liked their paintings…
