I’ve never been one to eat an apple a day, but as we’ve started our gym regiment I’ve gotten back in the habit of making fruit smoothies (which are delicious), so apples have gone back on the shopping list.  One day while slicing them I decided for my next painting I would capture the star on the inside.  Here is the first of 2 paintings before the apple met its final destination in the blender.
