A derivative of my childhood nickname Amy B. I have coined Ai.Me.Be. as my artistic persona, through which I am expressing the essence of ME.
Projects and concepts that I thought up and envisioned years ago – and at times seemed impossibly far away – now seem within reach, if I just continue to persevere with enough intention and follow through.
Please follow my journey to create and bring my dreams to life. Your support is appreciated.
I want to dedicate this blog to Bret Hoefen, who has inspired me to find my voice in the form of a blog, and to share my journey with others. In high school your artwork inspired me to alter my perspective and paint BIG. Today, a reminder to appreciate the preciousness of this life we have, to not put off till tomorrow what can be done today.
And to his mom Betsy, who helped me find my inner artist years ago, always encouraging and supportive – I am forever grateful.
My sister Kristie took this pic while on a family vacation in Emerald Isle years ago. I gave the painting to my mom and it burned in our house fire so this is one of my favorite photos. My dad bought me this easel on that trip which came out west with me and I still love and use it to paint today. I gave my sister the cowboy hat for a belated birthday present so this picture really reminds me of family when I look at it.
Wow! What an honor! Words fail…You are a beautiful person, Aimee. It was such a gift to have the privledge to work with you all those years. You taught me …(and continue to teach me) …as much as I taught you! How I look forward to following your blog. So far it’s beautiful! What a special photo…priceless. All my love…
Thank you so much Bets. My thoughts are with you.
